The Institute Council holds its fourth session for the academic year 2024-2025.
The Technical Institute of Kufa Council held its fourth session for the current academic year under the chairmanship of Prof. Athir Kazem Abadi, Dean of the Institute, and in the presence of all members.
The session began with a tribute to Mr. Jasim Mohammed Hassan, a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacy Techniques, on the occasion of his retirement. This recognition came in appreciation of his efforts throughout his years of service and his dedication to advancing the educational process.
The session also included directives from the Dean emphasizing the need for optimal preparation for the final exams of the first semester for second-year students and ensuring all requirements are met to guarantee the success of the examination process.
The Dean further directed the importance of community engagement through communication and partnerships with employers and other societal sectors to establish solid pathways for integration into the job market.
Additionally, he stressed the implementation of recommendations presented during the Employers’ Workshop organized by the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Evaluation Division. These recommendations formed the basis for a three-year action plan.
The session also addressed several other significant topics listed on the council’s agenda, which were discussed in detail.
