The deanship of the technical institute/Kufa organized a specialized workshop to follow up on the HEPIQ systems under the direct supervision of the assistant dean for scientific affairs and students, Assistant Professor Dr. Iyad Muslim Hamza. The workshop was attended by all heads and representatives of the scientific departments, as well as the heads of the Information Technology Division (ITD) and the Student Affairs and Registration Division (SARD).
The workshop addressed the challenges that may face students and staff in the HEPIQ system across its various platforms. It also included follow-up work within the IQ Learn platform and the mechanisms for student registration within the SIS system.
A comprehensive review was presented on the current status of the adopted electronic systems, alongside discussions of the technical and administrative challenges affecting workflow. The workshop focused on activating the (IQ Learn) platform in line with smart education requirements and emphasized the importance of accuracy and speed in completing student registration processes within the (SIS) system, given its essential role in organizing academic data.
The workshop also covered updating staff data and developing the Human Resources (HR) system for institute personnel. Mechanisms for uploading data, updating academic titles, and administrative assignments were reviewed.
The assistant dean stressed the importance of accuracy and speed in entering all information and documents into the electronic Human Resources system (HR system) to ensure data automation and ease of retrieval in a way that serves the public interest.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing that integration between scientific departments and administration is the key to the success of the Deanship’s plans for comprehensive modernization and improving organizational performance and services provided to staff and students
