Emphasizing the high level of care in monitoring strategic projects from their very first moments, on one of the nights of Muharram Al-Haram, the dean of the Technical Institute/Kufa, Professor Dr. Atheer Kazem Obaidi, followed up on-site outside official working hours on the initial stages of executing the new building project for the scientific departments, including the start of the foundation-pouring work.
He was accompanied by the Dean’s Assistant for Scientific Affairs and Students, Assist. Prof. Dr. Iyad Muslim Hamza and the Head of the Nursing Technologies Department, Dr. Hussien Abd Al-Zahra.
During the visit, His Excellency reviewed the progress of the work, which continues with high energy well into the late hours of the night. He also conducted a careful follow-up of the technical specifications for the pouring of concrete footings and foundations, stressing the great importance of this phase as the essential cornerstone that guarantees the safety and durability of the future buildings and, in turn, ensures the provision of a modern and advanced educational environment that serves our students.
The Dean also praised the exceptional efforts being made by the construction and projects unit staff and the engineering and technical committees stationed at the project site, urging them to intensify their efforts and maintain full commitment to the highest standards of quality and the approved engineering specifications.
This ambitious step is in line with the planned efforts of the Institute’s Office to expand the campus and develop infrastructure through vital projects, through which all available capabilities will be mobilized to support the educational journey and achieve the Institute’s goals for sustainable development and academic excellence
