In cooperation with the Family and Child Protection Department from Domestic Violence in Najaf Al-Ashraf and in line with the principle of joint collaboration and integration among different state institutions to raise community awareness and strengthen the family,
The Women’s Affairs Unit at the Technical Institute / Kufa organized an extensive awareness lecture to educate women about women’s rights and to combat electronic blackmail and drugs. The lecture was delivered by:

The lecture also witnessed an active participation by a select group of officers and specialists. It further reflected fruitful cooperation between the Nursing Techniques and Emergency Medicine and First Aid departments, and the Najaf Al-Ashraf Police Directorate, represented by the Family and Child Protection Department from Domestic Violence.
The lecture primarily aimed to increase awareness of the risks surrounding women, and to establish legal and community protection mechanisms for them. The topics covered focused on strengthening prevention skills against the dangers of electronic blackmail and ensuring appropriate handling of digital spaces. It also highlighted the devastating effects of drugs and ways to protect society from them.
The lecture received a strong turnout, including the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, along with a number of department heads, as well as a great engagement from female employees and students, who praised the importance of the presented topics in enhancing family security.
It concluded with recognition and appreciation from the Institute Dean’s Office, represented by Professor Dr. Atheer Kazem Abbadi, for the efforts of the participating parties. The Dean affirmed that the academic institution will continue to serve the public good and achieve sustainable development.
