Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohannad Hamza Hussein, Head of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology at the Technical Institute / Kufa, visited the Prosthetics and Orthotics Center at Sadr Medical City in Najaf Al-Ashraf, accompanied by Lecturer Dr. Safaa Sabar Atiyah, Department Rapporteur, and Mr. Laith Abdul Karim.
The visit aimed to follow up on the practical training of second-year evening study students, who continue their field training at the center two days per week.
The Prosthetics and Orthotics Center at Sadr Medical City hosts students from both morning and evening studies throughout the week, providing hands-on training in the manufacturing of full prosthetic limbs as well as orthotic devices.
During the visit, the head of the department expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the center’s administration and staff for their continuous cooperation and dedicated efforts in training students. He also emphasized that the purpose of the visit was to strengthen cooperation between the institute and the institutions of the Ministry of Health.
