The Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies at the Technical Institute / Kufa organized a scientific visit to the Department of Biology, College of Science, University of Kufa.
The delegation was received by the Head of the Department of Biology, Prof. Dr. Mousa Neama Mazhar, along with several faculty members, including Prof. Dr. Nidhal Abdulhussein Massan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hussein Al-Antaki, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amir Ali Shaker. They accompanied the students on a rich scientific tour that reflected the depth of academic expertise and the spirit of institutional cooperation.
The visit also included an introduction to the scanning electron microscope (SEM) and the Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), with a practical explanation of their most important research and diagnostic applications. In addition, the students were introduced to several advanced postgraduate laboratories within the department, including the Advanced Biotechnology Laboratory, Advanced Pathogenic Bacteria Laboratory, Advanced Zoology Laboratory, and Advanced Botany Laboratory.
On her part, the head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Angham Najah expressed her sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Department of Biology for their warm reception, excellent organization, and scientific support, which reflects their solid academic mission in serving the educational process.
