The Department of Pharmacy Technology at the Technical Institute/Kufa, in cooperation with the Media and Governmental Communication Division, organized a special celebration combining knowledge and spirituality to mark National Quran Day and World Education Day
The event opened with a rich program highlighting the importance of knowledge and learning. It included interactive segments and a book fair featuring a diverse selection of printed books, ranging from specialized scientific sources to general cultural works, to reinforce the value of reading on paper in the digital age
The department head, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Muhi Fahd, delivered an interactive lecture about the spark of inspiration in the advancement of modern science and the role of the scientist who broke barriers (Marie Curie)
A video produced by the Media and Governmental Communication Division was shown, presenting the main activities and achievements of the Department of Pharmacy Technology in 2025, reflecting the scale of efforts in both scientific and practical areas
The education program concluded with spirited scientific competitions among students intended to stimulate memory and foster fair scholarly competition
The celebration then moved to a spiritual segment for National Quran Day, recalling the Quran’s deep significance and stressing the need to adhere to Quranic values as a way of life that goes hand in hand with academic excellence. The program emphasized that combining science and the Quran is the path to building an aware generation of pharmacists who uphold both scientific responsibility and ethical values.
