The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the Technical Institute/Kufa organized an awareness seminar focused on the responsibilities of faculty members in combating deviance and extremism. The seminar introduced by:

Assistant Lecturer Aba Dharr Muhammad.
Targeting students from the Pharmacy Technology Department, the seminar addressed the educational and academic roles of faculty in confronting intellectual and behavioral deviance and extremism among students. This was emphasized through the promotion of moral and national values, as well as the establishment of concepts of moderation and balance within the university environment.
The discussion also highlighted the university lecturers’ responsibility in guidance and counseling, emphasizing the importance of modern educational methods and constructive dialogue in addressing negative behaviors. Furthermore, it called for the enhancement of cultural and awareness activities that contribute to creating a safe, intellectually, and ethically cohesive university environment.
