📝 About the Department and Establishment
The Autism Spectrum Techniques Department was established at the Kufa Technical Institute during the academic year 2024–2025, becoming the first specialized academic department in this field in Iraq. The department aims to address the severe shortage of qualified personnel to handle autism spectrum disorders. Students receive comprehensive theoretical and practical training including understanding disorders and their classifications, using approved diagnostic tools such as DSM-5, and designing individual behavioral treatment plans.
