Technical Institute of Kufa

The Technical Institute of Kufa is one of the institutions of the AL-Furat AL-awset Technical University, a governmental technical university established in the academic year 2014-2015. It includes several colleges and technical institutes.

The institute is located in the district of Kufa, opposite the Imam Ali (PBUH) Bridge, in the Al-Buhadari area, which is an agricultural region situated on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River. It is along the main road leading to the province of Babylon and then to Baghdad, and is also connected to the roads leading to the provinces of Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Muthanna.

The Technical Institute of Kufa was established in 1980 and aims to prepare technical staff in various medical, technological, agricultural, and administrative fields to meet the needs of the job market. The institute grants a technical diploma after a two-year academic period. It includes the following scientific departments:
