The Sustainable Development Unit in the Technical Institute / Kufa organized a tree-planting campaign to green the institute’s corridors and internal spaces under the supervision of:
Professor Basma Muhammad Bani / Head of the Department,
Assistant Professor Azhar Murad Aouja,
The campaign included the planting of ornamental plants with active volunteer participation from the department’s staff and students.
It aimed to transform the educational environment into a model of sustainable urban spaces that take into account quality of life and mental well-being and that help provide a comfortable visual environment that reduces stress and increases productivity for both students and teaching staff.
This initiative also comes to raise awareness of the importance of urban greening as part of the aesthetic identity of educational institutions.
