As part of the ongoing efforts of the Deanship of the Technical Institute / Kufa to promote a culture of quality and transform audit outcomes into opportunities for development, the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Atheer Kazem Abadi, held an expanded meeting with the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Students, Assistant Professor Dr. Iyad Muslim Hamza, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Lecturer Kazem Khayoun Kahloul. The meeting included heads of scientific departments, as well as officials and members of the institutional accreditation standards committees and supporting committees. This came following the conclusion of the visit by the National Evaluation Team to the institute.
The meeting witnessed a comprehensive review of the key observations presented by the ministerial team during their evaluation tours, which lasted for seven days. The Dean directed that these indicators be analyzed with precision.
He also emphasized that institutional accreditation is not a goal that ends with the conclusion of the visit, but rather a sustainable approach to work. He stressed the importance of immediately initiating procedural plans to address technical and administrative observations, affirming that the institute possesses sufficient flexibility, as well as the engineering and academic expertise required to transform every observation into a development project that contributes to enhancing institutional performance.
Meanwhile, the committee members affirmed their full commitment to updating files in accordance with the developmental visions proposed by the National Evaluation Team, emphasizing the continuation of committee work in a spirit of teamwork to ensure the sustainability of quality standards.
The meeting concluded with the establishment of a timeline to follow up on the implementation of recommendations, with the aim of maintaining the institute’s position at the forefront of educational institutions that adopt standards of innovation and sustainable development, in alignment with the strategy of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.
