The Department of Pharmacy Technology at the Kufa Technical Institute, in cooperation with the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a unique celebration that combined knowledge and spirituality, commemorating National Quran Day and International Education Day.
The event began with a rich program highlighting the importance of knowledge and learning. It included several interactive segments, such as a book fair featuring a diverse collection of printed books, ranging from specialized scientific resources to general cultural books, reinforcing the value of reading printed materials in the digital age.
The Head of the Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Muhyi Fahd, delivered an interactive lecture on the spark of inspiration in the advancement of modern science and the role of the pioneering scientist Marie Curie.
A video produced by the Media and Government Communication Division was also shown, showcasing the most important activities and achievements of the Department of Pharmacy Technology in 2025, reflecting the significant efforts made in both scientific and practical aspects.
The educational segments concluded with enthusiastic scientific competitions among the students, designed to stimulate their knowledge and foster a spirit of healthy competition.
This was followed by a celebration of the abundance of light, as the event was adorned with segments dedicated to the National Day of the Holy Quran. The profound significance of the Quran in people’s hearts was recalled, and the necessity of adhering to Quranic values as a way of life, alongside scientific excellence, was emphasized. The combination of science and the Quran is the path to building a generation of conscious pharmacists who uphold scientific integrity and ethical values simultaneously.
