The Council of the Technical Institute/Kufa held its seventh session for the 2025–2026 academic year, chaired by Professor Dr. Atheer Kazem Abbadi, dean of the institute, with the attendance of all members.
The session began with a set of directives emphasizing a focus on the planning aspect. The Dean instructed the heads of the scientific departments to submit their scientific plans derived from the institute’s annual and five-year plans, stressing the importance of adhering to timelines to achieve academic goals.
He also emphasized the need to activate monitoring mechanisms and ensure strict follow-up on the compliance of staff and students with applicable regulations and instructions.
During the session, the formation of permanent committees for the Environmental Management System and Energy Management System in each scientific department was discussed. These committees will be responsible for following up on the implementation of the annual sustainable development plan and submitting periodic progress reports at each council session, ensuring continuity of work in accordance with international standards and the preservation of the environment.
The session also addressed several other important topics included in the council’s agenda.
