The Technical Institute Council / Kufa held its first meeting for the 2025-2026 academic year. The session was led by Professor Dr. Atheer Kazem Abadi, the Dean of the Institute, and all council members attended
At the beginning of the session, the Dean welcomed the ladies and gentlemen of the council as the new academic year commenced, hoping it would be a year full of contribution and crowned with success and achievement for everyone
He also congratulated the establishment of the Departments of Emergency Medical Technology and First Aid, as well as Financial and Banking Management Technology. This step reflects the Institute’s administration’s efforts to enhance the level of technical education in Iraq and provide educational opportunities that meet the labor market’s needs, wishing success and prosperity to the staff of both departments
The council then proceeded to discuss the agenda of the session and to listen to the dean’s directives, which emphasized the importance of focusing on the scientific plan and research. He urged that this year’s student graduation projects should feature innovative ideas that support sustainability through practical research presented by the academic departments
The session also addressed the ongoing preparations for welcoming students in the new academic year, along with the maintenance of laboratories and classrooms
