The Women's Affairs Unit organizes a scientific seminar titled **"Shaping a Positive Personality for Women Through Social Media."**.
In collaboration with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Technical Institute / Kufa organized a scientific seminar on “Shaping a Positive Personality for Women Through Social Media.”
The seminar was presented by:
Asst. Prof. Harith Sahib Mohsen
Lecturer Batool Abdul Nabi Shakir
The event targeted faculty members and students of the Animal Production Technologies Department and addressed the significant role of social media in shaping modern human life. Social media platforms allow users to interact limitlessly, share information, ideas, and images, which greatly impacts social relationships—especially within families.
The discussion also explored the relationship between social media and family stability in Arab societies. The seminar highlighted how social media addiction leads to family members being engrossed in their devices, reducing meaningful communication. This, in turn, limits their interpersonal communication skills, weakens their ability to form strong relationships, and negatively affects family cohesion and interaction.
