With the aim of effective communication between academic institutions and the community represented by employers, to identify the most important scientific developments in line with the requirements of the labor market,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and in cooperation with the Government Media and Communication Unit, the Training and Employment Unit, and the Psychological Guidance and Educational Advising Unit,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Quality Assurance and University Performance Evaluation Unit at the Technical Institute \/ Kufa organized a workshop for employers under the slogan:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToward a more efficient and sustainable job market.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was attended by Mr. Director of the Quality Assurance Department at the Technical University of the Middle Euphrates, M.D. Hussain Awad Kurdi, along with a number of ladies and gentlemen\u2014employers from various fields, including medical, technological, administrative, and agricultural sectors. They were received by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Atheer Kazem Obaidi, the Dean\u2019s Assistant for Scientific Affairs and Students, A.M.D. Ayad Muslim Hamza, and the Dean\u2019s Assistant for Administrative and Financial Affairs, A.M. Kazem Khiyoun. Also present were the heads of the scientific departments, along with faculty members and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop included several segments that began with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by reading of the Iraqi national anthem, in addition to a brief introductory presentation of the scientific departments at the institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, the Dean announced the start of the workshop\u2019s proceedings, emphasizing in his speech the institute\u2019s keenness to follow up on and develop educational curricula and training programs in a way that aligns with the labor market\u2019s requirements. He noted that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop represents an effective institutional step toward strengthening communication channels with employers and identifying market needs while working to align the outputs of education with those needs to achieve quality of performance and efficiency of outcomes.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He further confirmed that the goal of the workshop is to inform employers about educational curricula and take their opinions and valuable suggestions for developing them, as well as to review their perspectives on establishing specializations that are needed and in demand in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop concluded with a tour for the employers across the scientific departments to view the laboratories and laboratory equipment, during which they also held meetings with the department staff to discuss the educational and training curricula provided to students and to receive employers\u2019 feedback on their quality and how they can be improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop resulted in a set of important recommendations that support the achievement of its goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
