The Department of Pharmacy Technology at the Technical Institute\/Kufa concluded a special three-day training course on the main uses of nanotechnology techniques and their therapeutic applications. The course was delivered by<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course covered the fundamental concepts of nanotechnology, including a brief history that mentioned its earliest uses<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It focused on the most important types of nanotechnologies and those most commonly used in scientific research and medicine, as well as their main classifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course also addressed the \u201cgreen\u201d approach, which is preferred to preserve environmental balance, reduce pollution, and limit the spread of agricultural waste<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course modules included the use of nanoparticles as a modern, effective technique for combating bacteria. Nanoparticles weaken bacterial cells through several mechanisms, most importantly by producing reactive oxygen species (ROS), which damage the cell membrane, disrupt proteins and enzymes, and injure bacterial genetic material, thereby reducing their ability to grow and reproduce<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The significance of this technique lies in its promise as an approach to confront antibiotic resistance and to enhance modern medical and health applications<\/p>\n\n\n\n
