The Emergency Medicine and First Aid Department at the Technical Institute \/ Kufa concluded a specialized training course in emergency medical care that lasted for three days, presented by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013Assistant lecturer Amer Jawad Ubaid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course covered the fundamental concepts of emergency medical care, focusing on the ‘golden hour’ principle and its importance in saving the lives of injured individuals. It emphasized that the speed of medical intervention and reducing the time between injury and the provision of specialized care are critical factors in improving survival rates and reducing complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The timeline for providing emergency assistance was reviewed, starting from the moment of injury, through first aid and professional medical care, leading to the transfer of the injured to the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course also included discussions on the most critical emergency cases requiring immediate intervention, such as severe injuries, acute bleeding, chest pain, difficulty in breathing, loss of consciousness, trauma, and burns, along with general principles for initial first aid responses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the course highlighted the vital role of emergency personnel in making swift and organized decisions and the importance of working within a cohesive medical team<\/p>\n\n\n\n
