The accomplishments of the faculty members at the Technical Institute of Kufa continue following the remarkable success of the fifth edition of the International Scientific Conference on Medical and Biological Technologies, organized in partnership with Duhok Technical University, Alexandria University in Egypt, and Ishtar Technical Medical Institute in Baghdad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fifth edition of the conference reflected a tangible development in the quality of participating research, solidifying its position as an international platform for exchanging scientific and technical expertise among reputable universities and research institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an academic achievement that highlights the competence of the institute’s teaching staff, two faculty members from the Technical Institute of Kufa received Certificates of Best Performance in the in-person research sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, Assistant Professor Dr. Nawal Abdul Hashem, a faculty member in the Pharmacy Techniques Department at the institute, was awarded a Certificate of Best Performance for her research titled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EVALUATION OF SOME BIOLOGICAL MARKERS IN PATIENTS WITH POLYCYSTIC OVARIES IN NAJAF CITY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study titled “Evaluation of Some Biological Indicators in Patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome in Najaf Al-Ashraf” by the researcher explored the physiological link between thyroid disorders and polycystic ovary syndrome. The results demonstrated a significant hormonal interaction that directly affects reproductive functions and the regularity of menstrual cycles. The study emphasized the clinical importance of assessing thyroid function as a fundamental part of the diagnostic process, ensuring that the underlying causes of the disorder are addressed rather than relying solely on symptomatic treatments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Assistant Professor Zahra Moussa Hamza from the Nursing Techniques Department received a Certificate of Best Performance for her research titled <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultraviolet Spectroscopic Profiling of Blood Serum for Early Detection of Lung Cancer: A Statistical Comparison Study<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This study, conducted in collaboration with the German Cancer Hospital, aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of “Ultraviolet Spectroscopy” as a non-invasive technique for early tumor detection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The researcher found statistical results affirming the potential use of absorption wavelength ratios in blood serum as accurate biomarkers, contributing to the enhancement of early diagnostic protocols for lung cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recognition of these accomplishments, the Dean of the institute, Professor Atheer Kazem Abadi, congratulated them, noting that this commendable representation at an international forum involving esteemed institutions from both inside and outside Iraq underscores the commitment of the Technical Institute of Kufa’s administration to support scientific initiatives and encourage faculty members to deliver practical research that provides innovative solutions for the healthcare sector, in line with international standards of academic and research quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
