With an abundance of joy and happiness, and in commemoration of the birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful, the Leader of Religion, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Atheer Kazem Abadi, the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at the Technical Institute / Kufa organized a joyful celebration for this blessed occasion in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit.

The celebration witnessed the attendance of the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, a number of department heads, staff from the university and institute presidency, as well as a large gathering of students.

The event included several segments, starting with a blessed recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a religious lecture by His Eminence Dr. Sadiq Al-Muruj. His Eminence discussed the concept of blessings and tribulations, and how patience and gratitude coexist in a person’s life despite challenges. The lecture was interactive, featuring multiple topics and discussions between His Eminence and the students.

The students took the opportunity to ask His Eminence various jurisprudential and doctrinal questions, which he answered comprehensively.

Among the other segments of the celebration was the hosting of poet Ali Al-Akbar Al-Ghurabi, who delighted the audience with poetic verses celebrating the love for Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

The ceremony concluded with the honoring of His Eminence Dr. Sadiq Al-Muruj and the poet Ali Al-Akbar Al-Ghurabi with certificates of appreciation by the institute’s administration. Additionally, a commemorative gift was presented to the poet Ali Al-Akbar by the students of the department.
