In the presence of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Lateef Al-Zubaidi, and under the direct supervision of the Dean, Professor Dr. Atheer Kazem Abadi, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Technical Institute of Kufa participated in the Development and Creativity Festival. The event was organized by the Women’s Affairs Department of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and held at the Hakim Hall at the University of Baghdad, chaired by the Deputy Minister for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Haidar Abdul Zahd.

The festival included several activities, most notably honoring the top five universities in Iraq that excelled in implementing the National Strategy for Iraqi Women. Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University ranked fourth in this achievement.

On the sidelines of the festival, Dr. Nada Al-Abadi, Head of the Women’s Affairs Department, inaugurated the festival’s art exhibition and bazaar. The exhibition featured a variety of creative works and marketing projects by students, including notable handmade contributions from the institute’s students, such as calligraphy, ornamentation, painting, resin-crafted souvenirs, and modern accessories. These works received significant attention and acclaim from the exhibition attendees.

This participation reflects the strong focus and commitment of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and the Technical Institute of Kufa towards fostering artistic and cultural activities and events.
